Welcome to MBMDA! Established in 1924, the MBMDA has served as advocates for the independent building material dealers. With the efforts of each of our members, we have gained success and improved business practices in our industry and a better understanding of our goals to serve our customers in a more profitable manner.

We are a regional association established in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, and have only full members as opposed to associate members. As full members, suppliers and retail dealers may seek positions as officers of the MBMDA.

We invite you to join with us in our efforts to make the industry stronger and better through combined work and ethics in the workplace.

THE MBMDA 2012 TRADE SHOW & CONVENTION
The 2012 Trade Show and Convention held in Natchez, MS, during March was a great success. We had approximately 30 dealers attend 42 booths of suppliers.

The kickoff on Thursday night with the crawfish boil by Great Southern and Homehardware was great. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and boy, did they eat some crawfish!

On Friday evening, Great Southern and Pakmix started the evening with a cocktail reception and then we went to the banquet. We also had a great time at the banquet. We held a live auction and Dave Chappell was our auctioneer. We sold all the items and really want to thank everyone involved.
